There were about 12 of us up there today. Paul from Riders Retreat came back with his cronies, and we had some new faces including a couple of French locals and Joseph from Ride Ability. Thanks to everyone that has been lending us a hand.
Order of the day was to finish off the berm/jump that was started last time and continue on down the track. We split into two teams and set about work. The 2nd team headed down to the last wooded section to clear some of the unwanted roots, mark out the track and start work on a big catcher. Team 1 had soon finished up top, the berm/jump is looking proper now, with the end boxed-in to hold it's shape. All it needs now is to be ridden! Team 2 laboured on with the catcher, importing mud from a nice big hole. Team 1 headed to the last part of the track, re-defining the line to make it safer on the exit where it will join up with the blue track.
That was it for the day, D.A. trail is pretty much finished, bar the couple of bits where we would like to get the digger in.
Tomorrow we will commence with the black run, Hattok. Once again, if you are free in the afternoon and want to lend a hand, post on our Facebook page here or send us an email.
Here are a couple more photos for your amusement:

The last part of the track. It used to turn right here but we have directed it to the left to make it safer. |
